I like free.

We had a spokeswomen with Crest come in and speak with us today. I learned some very informative things about their products which have now convinced me that it’s time make an official switch over to Crest. (Maybe I will blog about this later?) I’m also going to finally invest in one of their electric toothbrushes. Their high end model is $160, but with my student discount, I can get it for $40! She ended off her presentation by giving us a sample packet of the Crest Pro-Health Night toothpaste and mouth wash. As well as a Crest toothbrush and Crest Glide dental floss.

Pretty sweet deal, I’d say.

Just for fun.

Perhaps one of the most important tasks as a dental assistant is putting people at ease so we can see those teeth. And as a fan of Lady Gaga, I had to post this.

It’s the little things.

You know a perk I enjoy as a dental assisting student? Wearing scrubs. Yes, I love them. I love them because I don’t have to fuss over what I’m going to wear each morning. I love them because they are comfortable. I just love them.

My friend tells me that the love for them fades with time, and maybe it will, but you can’t beat the fact that they save time and are simple yet functional.

I’m currently rotating three solid color scrubs for school, and next month I hope to add on at least two to three more, plus some printed tops. This scrub top is something I really want.

Cute, isn’t it? It’s by Paul Frank.
